The rota displays the people who are scheduled in for each event for upcoming weeks. plan2gether is designed to be an on-line system where the rotas are viewed on a device – desktop, laptop, iPad etc but there are times when a printed copy of the rota is useful. 

Printing a Rota

The whole rota can be printed out, but by using different view/layout, filters and date ranges you can create printouts of the rotas you need.

To print the rota, go to the rota page. There are three views (layouts) – list, grid and calendar, selected by using the button at the top of the page. Only the grid and list views are relevant for printing. Anyone who is not logged in to plan2gether will be able to view and print the rota – display names only.

When the Print button is clicked a print preview will be displayed. The printer and other options, for example orientation and scale can be selected before printing.

Setting a date range:

By default the rotas will be displayed from today’s date. To view rotas between any 2 dates use the calendar tool to set the start and end dates. Click the check box to “Select date range”. To revert to the default view un-check the “Select date range” box. To view to rotas for the last 28 days simply click the radio button.

Filtering by team or event:

Using the Teams or Events button, the view can be changed to show only selected teams or events. This will be remembered by your browser between sessions. A filter icon appears in the button if a filter is active.
